Placemat complete

Two placemats for Meals on wheels are done - I was pleased with the results but realized at the last moment that they were 20" wide and only12" high - Oh well  - the next two will be bigger!!

Christmas will soon be here - I put the Wreaths on the windows and doors -and am looking forward to gearing up for these holidays. Both Tim, the DS, and Katherine, the DD, will be here and maybe even others!!

Thanksgiving is over . . .

Thanksgiving is over and the son has left. The house is quiet and our dog Kelly seems lost without the constant attention.

I have managed to prepare the Churn Dash block for the Quilting Guild Auction Quilt - but sadly there is more to do. I did finish all the blocks for the Christmas BOM and look forward to assembling it. I also need to make Christmas Placemats for donation from the guild ro a local Meals on Wheels.

I suppose that the house needs Christmas Decorations as well - lol .

First Notes

It is a cold windy day, here in the mountains of NH. The bear are headed off for their big nap and the moose are ready. So are we. The snow will come soon!

I have been busy working on my Christmas BOM and will soon assemble it. I am pleased with the choices of colors (not what the LQS provided) but will proballu eliminate the applique in lieu of another star.
